Muskin is a sustainable alternative to animal leather, born from nature – biodegradable, vegan, plastic-free, and cruelty-free. A one-of-a-kind material, it is available here in its natural state, ready to use for your projects.
Muskin is very soft and absorbs moisture. It is highly breathable, naturally antibacterial, and suitable for direct contact with the skin. The surface, texture, and color may vary slightly from piece to piece, as the material is completely natural.
We recommend laminating or combining Muskin with other backing materials, such as fabrics or paper, to increase its mechanical strength and facilitate processes like stitching or gluing when producing goods.

Muskin is available in three sizes:
• Small: ~10–15 cm × 15–22 cm
• Medium: ~13–20 cm × 23–30 cm
• Large: ~17–25 cm × 30–45 cm
Please note that these measurements are approximate, as every Muskin piece is unique. The material is also categorized into first and second quality—second quality pieces may have visible imperfections, such as holes or scratches.
For each Muskin, there is also a slim (“lowered”) option: the material is pressed under high pressure and heat, resulting in a smoother, more uniform surface and a thinner thickness (around 1 mm).
